KCHCC announces 20th annual Latino Food Festival

The Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announced Friday its 20th annual Latino Food Festival & Menudo Cook-Off will be returning to the Kern County Museum Sunday.

The event begins at 11 a.m. and will feature American funk band Zapp and Evelyn Champagne King.

Tickets are available for purchase at all Bakersfield La Mina Cantina restaurants, Bootleggers and at $12. The entry price increases to $15 the day of the event. Children ages 5 and under are free.

Officials with the KCHCC say funds go toward scholarships and business seminars. This allows the chamber to provide other programs and services to its members.
