KCSO searching for man wanted in stabbing, robbery
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
Kern County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in Lost Hills Tuesday morning and found a stabbing victim.
The person was found around 7:18 a.m. behind the businesses northwest of Highway 46 and Interstate 5 and airlifted to a local hospital.
Another report came in at 7:28 a.m. about a robbery in the 21000 block of Highway 46. The suspect was armed with a knife and had already left the scene.
While investigating the two incidences, deputies discovered the alleged suspect in the stabbing and in the robbery were one and the same.
He was identified as Jaime Valdez, 46. He is 6-feet-tall and 230 pounds. He is known to frequent Wasco and Lost Hills and is considered armed and dangerous.
