Kern County Library announces Annual Summer Reading Challenge

The Kern County Library is encouraging youth to read during the Summer with their Annual Summer Reading Challenge.

They say reading during the vacation from school helps curb Summer learning loss.

The challenge is to complete 10 books, orhoursfortweensandteens, byTuesday,July31,2018. All who complete the challenge will earna free bookandincentives,whilesupplieslast.

To celebrate summer reading sign up for the Annual Summer Reading Challenge at one of Kern County's special library events.
