Kern County sheriff's arrest suspect in connection with Rosamond homicide

Kern County sheriff's deputies arrested a suspect Saturday in connection with a homicide in Rosamond.

Deputies were called about a suspicious circumstance about 5:15 p.m. at a home on the 2000 block of Alexander Avenue.

When they arrived they found a body inside the home with injuries to the body.

Deputies also found 32-year-old Jaime Briseno Perez in a bedroom of the home.

Deputies called the homicide team and after an investigation Perez was arrested, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
