School officials are trying to be proactive about overcrowding as more homes are built in some areas, especially within Frontier's boundary.

The school board will pick one of three plans based off parent feedback during public forums held over the summer.

The board meets in open session at 7 p.m. at the EOC Administrative Building, Kern High School District, 5801 Sundale Ave.
