Desmond Perry, accused of killing child, arraigned
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
A man arrested on suspicion of two murders was arraigned Friday in Kern County Superior Court.
Desmond Perry, 33, of Acton, entered a not guilty plea to charges he killed 12-year-old Trinity Wiggins and 39-year-old Michael Wiggins.
The drive-by shooting occurred July 22 in California City.
Perry was arrested in Lancaster on Aug. 1.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for later in the month.
