As the midterm election winds down, Eyewitness News Mornings had a pair of analysts take a look at the results and how they could impact Kern County and the nation.

Dr. Ivy Cargile of California State University, Bakersfield spoke about voter turnout, the number of women running, and the Kern County Board of Supervisors' District 4 race.

Then, Dr. Jeanine Kraybill of CSUB stopped by to discuss the divided Congress and how that can impact things such as immigration, the diversity within Congress and the possible next speaker, Nancy Pelosi.
