Renovated multipurpose room unveiled at Kern County Boys & Girls Club
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
A renovated multipurpose room was unveiled Friday at the Boys & Girls Club on Niles Street.
The room is used for kids to study, read, do homework and receive tutoring, according to Leadership Bakersfield.
The renovations were made possible through donations.
Leadership Bakersfield Team 1 released a statement on the unveiling:
“The project will undoubtedly benefit children and adults from Bakersfield needing a safe place to learn. We believe the renovations made to this room will help provide a world-class experience, and adhere to the mission and vision of the Boys & Girls Club.”
