BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Fire Department said an RV that caught fire in east Bakersfield is a total loss.
It started around 2 a.m. Tuesday on Ohio Drive near East Brundage Lane and Union Avenue.
The Fire Department said the RV hadn't been occupied for months but was connected to electricity and a propane line.
The heat from the RV fire caused a neighboring trailer's windows to blow out.
Fire crews were able to get the occupant of that trailer out without injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
