A semitruck crash on Highway 99 near Elmo Highway has caused the southbound lanes of Highway 99 to be closed.

According to the California Highway Patrol traffic-incident website, the truck was swerving before crashing into the center divider.

The driver of the big rig suffered minor injuries.

Traffic in McFarland is being rerouted to Elmo Highway from Frontage Road.

It is unknown what caused the crash at this time.
