Sonoma County Animal Services needs monetary donations as wildfires rage

An official with the Sonoma County Animal Services says they need monetary donations for specialist supplies as devastating wildfires rage in wine country.

They have plenty of animal food and supplies, Public Health Division Director John P. Skeel said.

They have the capacity at the shelter to accept more animals, and some staffers are working shifts of at least 12 hours as the shelter is operating 24 hours a day.

Adoptions are on hold.
