Suspect arrested in Fourth of July 2017 shooting outside pot dispensary

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A man has been arrested for a July 4, 2017, shooting outside a south Bakersfield marijuana dispensary.

Rudolph Gibson was arrested Wednesday and is being held without bail. He’s facing murder and gang charges.

Michael Dorrough was sitting in a car in front of a dispensary on South Union Avenue when he was gunned down. He also went by the name Michael Dupree, according to his family.

His girlfriend, Alize Webber, was also shot but survived.

Another suspect, Troy Sanders, was arrested within weeks of the shooting. He’s on trial for murder.
