    UPDATE (Thursday, March 21): Kern County Coroner's office has identified the adult male as Manpreet Singh Gill, 28 from Bakersfield.


    UPDATE (5:30 p.m. Feb. 20, 2019): Bakersfield police said the adult male had stab wounds and was the victim of a homicide. His identity has not been released.


    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Police said a man was found dead Wednesday morning in a restroom at Belle Terrace Park in southeast Bakersfield.

    Sgt. Nathan McCauley said the man’s body had injuries, which makes them believe the death to be suspicious.

    McCauley said they’ll be out at the park investigating for several hours.

    Someone found the body and called it in to police shortly before 10 a.m.
