'The Marvelous Wonderettes' now playing at Stars Theatre Restaurant

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — "The Marvelous Wonderettes" is now playing at Stars Theatre Restaurant.

The smash off-Broadway hit takes you back to the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where four girls have some big hopes and dreams.

The show features more than 25 classic hits from the '50s and '60s.

Performances will be held on weekends until Sept. 1.

Tickets range $40-70 for adults and $20-45 for 18 and under.

"The Marvelous Wonderettes" is created by Roger Bean, directed and choreographed by Marnie Forzetting, and vocals directed by Char Gaines. The musical stars Caitlin Wolfenstein as Betty Jean, Julie Verrell as Suzy, Amelia Mejia as Cindy Lou and Gianna De Keles as Missy.
