BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Two suspects in a cellphone store robbery have been arrested.
A T-Mobile store was robbed Wednesday morning on East California Avenue. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said employees told them there were three male juveniles wearing hoodies and masks, and two of the robbers had handguns.
Deputies later located one suspect on Niles Street and another on Kincaid Street. Deputies also located a van that had been stolen and reportedly used by the robbers.
One of the arrested suspects was identified as 19-year-old Chayse Cherry. The other is 17 years old, and his name was withheld due to his age.
The Sheriff’s Office didn’t say whether deputies are looking for any additional suspects.
