The annual Veterans Day Parade in Bakersfield is this Saturday.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. at L and 21st streets, according to American Legion Post 26 Adjutant David Graham.

He said the parade will then wind west on 21st, south on G Street, turn on 20th Street and end at O Street.

Graham said there are more than 100 entries, and he expects the parade to last a couple hours.

A free breakfast for veterans precedes the parade at 6:30 a.m. at the American Legion hall at 21st and H streets. Graham said they'll also host a free lunch for veterans at the American Legion hall, with that beginning around 11:30 a.m.

There's also a flag raising at 8 a.m. at the Liberty Bell in downtown.
