Wasco murder suspects appear in court

Two of the three men arrested for a deadly stabbing in Wasco made their appearance in court on Tuesday.

Joel Robles, 21, and Atanacio Larios, 24, both made their first appearance in court.

The two are suspected of being involved in the death of 45-year-old Roberto Villanueva Jr.

Villanueva was among five people who were stabbed during an early morning fight outside Wasco Pizza & Sports Bar on Highway 46 in May. The other four survived their injuries.

A third man was also arrested in connection with the stabbing, 26-year-old Leonel Larios.

The two men entered not guilty pleas.
