BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly driving drunk and hitting a woman who was riding a bicycle.
The suspected driver, 30-year-old Adam Russell Goss, didn't stop and was later located at a house on Castaic Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The woman, 22-year-old Andrea Webb, suffered multiple broken bones when Goss let his truck drift across the solid yellow lines and head-on into her bicycle Saturday night on Sequoia Drive in Oildale, the CHP said.
The pickup involved in the hit-and-run crash was found abandoned in a nearby alley before officers tracked Goss to the house.
