WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- In his first extended television interview after his shocking Election Day victory, President-elect Donald Trump doubled down on some of his campaign promises.

"It's going to be better healthcare that's cheaper," Trump said about his promise to repeal and replace "The Affordable Care Act."

Lesley Stahl pressed Trump on many of his promises, including his promise to appoint a special prosecutor to try to convict former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whom he beat in the general election.

"I'm going to have to think about it," he said. "They are very good people and I don't want to hurt them [the Clintons]."

Trump also stated he wouldn't be taking a salary for the presidency. He said he's going to only take $1.00 out of the $400,000 a year salary the president usually earns.

FBI Director James Comey played a big role in this year's election, according to many political experts. Trump told Stahl he hasn't decided whether Comey would be keeping his job or not.

"I think that I would rather not comment on that yet," Trump said. "I haven't made up my mind. I respect him a lot. I respect the FBI a lot. ... There's been a lot of leaking, there's no question about that. But I would certainly like to talk to him."

Trump said he would defeat ISIS by reminding Stahl that he thought "the generals" are not doing a great job right now. He mentioned that he "probably" knew more than the current generals in charge because ISIS has not been defeated.

Further, after Stahl asked him how he would defeat ISIS, he told her he wasn't going to let people know how before it happens. He said that's why the fight in Mosul, Iraq is so difficult right now.

"Boots on the ground?," Stahl asked.

"I'm not saying a word," Trump said.

Trump's wife and children then joined him for the rest of the interview.

The interview, Stahl said in an online video, showed a more "subdued and serious side" of Trump.
