MENASHA (WLUK) — A man rammed his car into a convenience store — just to steal some beer.

Police say the crime happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday at JS Foods in Menasha, Wisconsin. A surveillance image released by the police department shows the car breaking through the front door.

The damage to the storefront is estimated to be in the thousands of dollars. The burglar made off with "some Bud Light," specifically bottled 12-packs, police said.

Investigators described the burglar as a white male wearing dark pants and a lighter-colored hooded sweatshirt. The sweatshirt had a black-and-white design or character on the upper left chest.
