The National Weather Service had upgraded the tornado that touched down in Fresno County to an EF1.

NWS says the tornado winds reached around 80-110 miles per hour on the low end.


The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Fresno County today.

It happened at around 3:30pm this afternoon at Herndon and Academy avenues.

The tornado caused some damage in the area, destroying a barn.
