Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" said it best, there's no place like home! David, a Bear Valley Springs (Tehachapi) boy, is thrilled to be back in Sunny California, reporting for the station he grew up watching! David is coming from a Reporter job at WTAJ News in State College, Pennsylvania and before that reported at KULR 8 News in Billings, Montana.
Before Montana, David was an Editor and Photographer at 23ABC in Bakersfield. David interned at KAXL 88.3 Life FM with Aaron Perlman and at TV news stations in San Luis Obispo, Fresno and Sacramento. He is a 2015 CSUB graduate, with a BA in Communications, emphasis in Journalism and Digital Media and a Minor in Theater. David served as the Multimedia Editor for The Runner Newspaper. Go Runners!
When David isn't on air he's going to church, reading his Bible, hanging out with friends and family, watching "The Mandalorian", rooting for the Lakers and Dodgers or going on a fun outdoor adventure (like hiking or white water river rafting!).
David loves meeting new people and doing unbiased, ethical stories that help and impact the community. If you have a story idea, David would love to hear it. He can be reached through email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or social media.
