Hello Kern County! It's a dream come true to be a part of the Eyewitness News team and to be back in sunny California.

Born and raised in Silicon Valley, I've spent the better part of the last seven years living in New York City where I was a business and technology producer for NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, the Today Show, and MSNBC. I've traveled across the United States covering everything from retail and consumer news, to cyber security, politics, and the economy. I was part of a team that led NBC's investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 election through social media.

I got my start in broadcast journalism interning at MSNBC's Morning Joe. But I fell in love with journalism much earlier. The journalism dream began at age seven, when I got a Royal typewriter for Hanukkah. I credit the American Girl Doll books and Kit Kittredge for the inspiration.

I graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a degree in American Studies. I sharpened my reporter skills as a campus news reporter and editor for the Columbia Daily Spectator.

In my free time, I enjoy testing out new dessert recipes, training for my next Spartan race, and--always the history buff--exploring downtown's antique mall.

I'm thrilled to make Bakersfield my new home and am excited to connect with the Kern County community.
