Kyle Betz

Kyle Betz is an Orange County, California native with longtime family ties to Bakersfield. Betz received his M.A. in Sports Journalism from The Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University in 2022. There, he was a broadcast news and sports reporter/anchor for Arizona PBS/Cronkite News. Betz also covered high school sports for AZPreps365.com.

Before attending ASU, Betz studied Journalism at San Diego State University and graduated in 2021. At SDSU, he proudly began his career working at The Daily Aztec, primarily covering Aztec athletics for four years (two as a sports editor).

Betz is a massive sports fan. He often spends his free time watching the Denver Broncos, LA Angels, LA Lakers, Manchester United and SDSU football/basketball. Betz also enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, playing FIFA and trying new restaurants.
