I am glad to be back in sunny California!

I just got back from rural Iowa, where I was working as a reporter for 2022.

During my time there, I covered the John Deere strikes and met a lot of politicians, from Bernie Sanders to Chuck Grassley.

I had the opportunity to drive cross country to come back home, it is definitely an experience I hope to do again in the future.

Riverside is my hometown, but I also lived in San Francisco while I went to college.

In my free time I like to travel, enjoy seeing new places (coffee shops), and meeting new people.

I am looking forward to meeting the Kern County community and covering their stories!

I am also bilingual, Spanish is my native language.
