Stacy Rasmussen

I am so excited to be living in Bakersfield and working as part of the Eyewitness News team as your morning anchor.

I grew up in Southern California, and attended Biola University where I majored in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Bible. Out of college, I was privileged to serve as a reporter at KKCO in Grand Junction, Colorado. But my hope was always to make it back to Kern County, as I have several friends and family here and throughout the central valley, and have spent a significant amount of time here over the past many years.

Here are some fun facts about me. I was a contestant on Let's Make a Deal and Wheel of Fortune. I love country music concerts, enjoy checking out new restaurants around town, and enjoy sports (especially the SF Giants). Traveling is one of my biggest passions. I have made it to most of the 50 states, and have been to a few different countries. So far, Slovenia is my favorite.
